Do I need a credit card to use Starter?
No. Register as an employer and publish on Starter without entering payment. You only add a card when you choose Growth or Spotlight and complete checkout for that listing.
What is the difference between Starter, Growth, and Spotlight?
All three tiers include the same workspace: posting, application pipeline, messaging (pause or close threads), control over how listing end and closing dates appear, public company profiles, notifications, and CSV exports. Starter is no-cost for the number of days on its card. Growth is paid and keeps the job live for more days than Starter. Spotlight is the top tier: the longest run in days, homepage featured placement (for the plan’s configured window), a Featured badge on the job page, and first ordering in browse and search. Prices and every run length are shown in days on the cards above.
Where do my jobs show on the portal?
Active listings appear in job search and on your company’s public profile. Spotlight also qualifies for the homepage featured jobs area (for the featured window defined on the plan) and sorts ahead of Growth and Starter in browse and search.
How do Spotlight’s homepage feature and Featured badge work?
On Spotlight, your role can appear in the homepage featured section for the number of days set for that plan (see the Spotlight card and checkout). The public job page shows a Featured badge. In browse and search, Spotlight listings are ordered before Growth and Starter.
Are homepage featured days always the same as total listing days?
Not always. Some Spotlight plans use one day count for the homepage featured slot and another for how long the job stays published overall. When both apply, the pricing card and checkout show each figure—always confirm in days before you pay.
Is this a subscription or a one-time charge?
Growth and Spotlight are a single charge per listing at checkout. There is no recurring employer subscription—you are not billed again unless you buy another paid posting.
What payment methods are accepted, and in what currency?
Checkout runs through Stripe. Major credit and debit cards are supported; card data stays with Stripe. Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Taxes, if applicable, are calculated at checkout (for example via Stripe Tax)—they are not baked into the sticker price on the card.
Can I use a promotion or discount code?
When this portal offers a promotion, enter the code on the checkout step for Growth or Spotlight. Invalid, expired, or fully used codes show an error until a valid code is applied.
How many Starter listings can I have at once?
Each company can have one active Starter listing at a time. Growth and Spotlight jobs do not use that slot, so you can run paid postings in parallel with your free Starter line.
Can one employer account manage several companies?
Yes. Add multiple companies under one login and switch context when posting or reviewing applicants. Listings, teams, and permissions stay separate per company.
Can I change tiers after a job is already live?
Plan is read-only on a live posting. To move from Starter to Growth or Spotlight: set the job to draft, pick the paid tier, complete checkout, then publish again. If it is already live on a paid tier, duplicate the job, select the new tier on the copy, check out, then pause or close the original if it should no longer be public.
What happens when my listing hits its end date?
The posting leaves active public visibility according to your plan and the dates you set. You can publish again on any tier when you have a new role.
Can I take a job down early or shorten how long it runs?
Yes. Pause or close a live job when you are done hiring. You can also set a closing date or listing end date shorter than your plan’s maximum number of days if you only need a shorter window.
Can I edit a job after it goes live?
Yes—update copy and details after publish without starting over. A few fields are locked to the plan while live; moving from Starter to a paid tier uses draft → checkout → publish again.
How do candidates apply?
You enable methods per job: apply on the portal (profile and résumé here), or email, phone, mail-in, walk-in, or an external URL. Applicants only see what you allow. In-platform applies land in your dashboard for pipeline updates and messages—you can pause or close a thread when the conversation should stop.
Who do I contact if checkout fails or I have a billing question?
Use Support in the footer for portal, checkout, or access issues. Keep your Stripe receipt email. For policy questions, see Terms & Conditions on this site—we will help if something does not look right.
