Job Description

Vape Hub is seeking a full-time Store Manager – Retail to manage daily store operations at our retail location in Princeton, British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, organizing store activities, monitoring sales and expenses, managing inventory and merchandise, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Main Duties

The Store Manager – Retail will perform the following duties:

• Direct and control daily operations

• Evaluate daily operations

• Plan and organize daily operations

• Manage staff and assign duties

• Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales

• Implement price and credits policies

• Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale

• Develop and implement marketing strategies

• Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses

• Determine staffing requirements

• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages

• Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers

• Oversee payroll administration

• Conduct performance reviews

Requirements

Education:
College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years of related retail management or supervisory experience

Computer and Technology Skills:

• Point of sale system

• Inventory control software

• Word processing software

• Email

Supervision:
The position involves supervising approximately 1 to 4 employees.
